A 14-year old girl has been indicted for killing her own mother in the United States.

A grand jury indicted Amariyona Hall for killing her mother Erica Hall in Pike County, Mississippi, in January 2019.

Amariyona Hall was indicted in October 2019 for first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Reports quoted investigators as saying that Amariyona Hall and her younger sister stabbed and shot their mother Erica Hall.

Both girls have since been released into the custody of their father.

Knoe.com reported that “In January, 32-year-old Erica Hall was found brutally attacked and killed in the front yard of her home. Investigators said 14-year-old Amariyona Hall and her 12-year-old younger sister stabbed and shot their mother Erica Hall.

The two girls spoke to reporters in March of last year.

No date has been set for trial.
