Six persons who returned from South Africa have tested positive for COVID-19 in Zimbabwe and have all been isolated, the government in Harare said in a statement on Wednesday.
As of Wednesday June 10, there were 320 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Zimbabwe, 49 recoveries, 267 active cases and four deaths, the health ministry said.
Capital Harare had the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 88 active infections, followed by Mat South with 45 active cases.
Masvingo comes third with 30 active infections followed by Midlands with 26 cases of COVID-19.
The COVID-19 story in Africa is different from country to country. While Zambia has lost ten persons from COVID-19, Zimbabwe has lost 10 and South Africa more than 1100.
