Biden, Harris to meet with Democratic Senators to discuss their $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan

U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Vice President Kamala D. Harris will be meeting with Democratic Senators in the Oval Office on Wednesday to discuss their $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, the White House said.

The Democrats seem to be moving ahead to pass the bill alone without Republicans in an urgent attempt to crush COVID-19, rescue the economy and help the American people who are hurting from the financial impact of the disease.

The meeting comes just days after Biden and Harris met with a group of Republican Senators at the White House over the COVID rescue plan.
