Biden not interested in sideshows: I’m a fairly practical guy, I want to get things done

U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. said on Thursday he will not be distracted by the sideshows of his presidency but will focus on getting things done for the American people.

“I’m a fairly practical guy, I want to get things done,” Biden said at his first White House press briefing in Washington D.C.

The President said a president succeeds when they can time themselves and their presidency well, indicating that his focus now is to pass his upcoming infrastructure $3 trillion bill to rebuild bridges and America’s decaying infrastructure.

“I’ve been hired to solve problems, not create division,” the president added.
