Biden to receive first presidential briefing today

U.S. President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. will receive his first presidential briefing on Monday after a long delay.

The classified briefing comes just days after Biden was ascertained by a government agency as the apparent winner of the 2020 presidential election.

President Donald Trump has not conceded defeat but that has not stopped Biden from moving ahead and preparing to take over from him on January 20, 2021.

After, the presidential briefing, President-elect Biden will meet with transition advisors, his office said on Sunday.
