Biden teases reporters: “I ain’t telling you” about my legislative agenda

President Joseph R. Biden Jr. is keeping his legislative agenda close to his chest.

Asked about whether he had made a final decision on how he’s going to approach his legislative agenda, the president told reporters before boarding Air Force One at Delaware Air National Guard Base in New Castle, Delaware, “I have, but I ain’t telling you.”

Asked about his reaction to the Myanmar crisis where more than 90 protesters were said to have been killed on Saturday, President Biden said, “It’s terrible.  It’s absolutely outrageous.  And based on the reporting I’ve gotten, an awful lot of people have been killed totally unnecessarily.”

The President was also asked whether he was prepared to make calls to Republicans to pass a legislation on gun control, especially on background checks, he said, “Sure, I am.  Of course, I am.  I’m the only one that’s ever gotten it passed, man.  Everybody keeps wondering whether I cared about dealing with rational gun control.  The only gun control legislation ever passed was mine.  It’s going to happen again.”

President Biden also disclosed that he was “close” to naming a national cyber director.
