Biden: Trump’s refusal to concede ‘an embarrassment’

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden described as an “embarrassment” President Donald Trump’s refusal to concede and congratulate him.

Biden said Trump’s stance will not also help his legacy and may even tarnish it.

Speaking to reporters in Wilmington, Delaware, the President-elect said there has been a transition and nothing can stop that, even without a concession from President Trump.

Biden said he did not see any need for legal action over the transition, even as the Trump administration continues to block the resources the new administration needs to hit the ground running.

The President-elect said he has spoken with six world leaders, including the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Canada and others.

He said his message to them is that America is back.
