With more than two million Nigerians rendered homeless by Boko Haram, the Nigerian government announced on Sunday that it will be hosting a 2-Day Engagement Forum with local and international stakeholders next week in Maiduguri, Borno State, to discuss how to help them.

Last month during the General Assembly in New York, the Nigerian government missed a crucial meeting  meant to see how the world could assist the millions of displaced persons in the Lake Chad Basin.

The forum, themed Coordination, Communication and Cooperation”, is being convened by the Presidency and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and will hold next week Tuesday October 27, 2015 at the Multi-Purpose Hall in the Borno State Government House.
