BREAKING: 738 people died from coronavirus in Spain in past 24 hours

At least 738 people died from coronavirus in Spain in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday.

Overall, about 3,434 people have now died from coronavirus in Spain, a number that surpasses China’s death toll of 3,285. It is also more than half of Italy’s 6,820.

The Health ministry said 47,610 have been infected so far while more than 5000 people have recovered.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, the number of infections by 20%.

The central region around Madrid has one third of the positive cases and roughly half of the casualties.
