Ethiopia has recorded eight new coronavirus cases, including a 9-month-old infant, Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse announced on Tuesday.

The eight new cases were recorded from 264 laboratory tests conducted in the past 24 hrs, the minister added.

Africa’s second most populous nation now has 52 confirmed cases of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
