Africans travelling to the West African country of Benin no longer need visa, President Patrice Talom declared on Tuesday, adding that he was drawing inspiration from Rwanda to boost tourism and bring brothers and sisters together.
“My hope is that the cooperation between Benin and Rwanda will serve as an example, ” he said during am official visit yo Rwanda.
Since 2013, Africans were allowed to apply for entry visa at the borders of Benin, but even that procedure has now been cancelled.
