Nigeria’s main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, has dragged President Muhammadu Buhari to court only 24 hours before the rescheduled elections are to take place.
The PDP said President Buhari broke the law when he directed the military to use violence if necessary during the presidential and national assembly elections on Saturday.

Violence should be used against election saboteurs, the President said.
But the PDP argued that opposition members and voters would be targeted.
