A prominent Nigerian Senator from Lagos state Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo popularly known as “Pepper” is dead. He was 65.

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District died on Monday, sources told TODAY NEWS AFRICA in Washington DC

Sources said there was mourning in the Lagos political circle on Monday with politicians breaking down.

Many were on their way to his Lagos residence at the time of writing this report. The cause of death has not been announced.
