Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, returned home on Saturday August 18, after spending 15 days in the United Kingdom for his ‘brief’ vacation.
Mr. Buhari who left Nigeria on August 3 has written the National Assembly to resume work.

Mr. Buhari, upon arrival, vowed to crush corruption and deal with corrupt officials. The renewed focus comes seven months to a presidential election in February 2019.
Opposition leaders have accused Buhari of using corruption to punish his opponents while corrupt allies are left untouched, an allegation he and his officials have denied.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo acted while Buhari was holidaying.
