Burkina Faso records 891 cases of COVID-19 and 53 deaths

At least 891 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the West African country of Burkina Faso, authorities in the capital Ouagadougou said on Tuesday.

The number of confirmed cases includes 323 women and 568 men.


As of June 9, 2020, 53 people have died, the government added.
