Election tribunal sacks illegal APC governor of Osun, declares PDP’s Adeleke winner Updated for 2021

The election petitions tribunal for the 2018 governorship election in Osun State has sacked Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress.

In a ruling in Abuja on Friday afternoon, the three-man panel declared Ademola Adeleke as winner after concluding that the rerun election that held on September 27 was illegal.

The tribunal deducted the votes scored by the APC candidate in the rerun election, saying that Adeleke won at the first ballot on September 22, local media reported.
