Members and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State have been commended for standing up for President Muhammadu Buhari in last Saturday’s presidential, giving the president unprecedented figures, despite all odds.

Giving the commendation in a statement he personally signed and circulated in Port Harcourt on Friday, a chieftain of the APC in the South-South, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, pointed out that it was indeed a feat worth celebrating for the party to have recorded as much as 150,710 votes, against the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) 473,971 votes, even with the fact that elections were canceled in Ikwerre, Okrika, Bonny, Ahoada and Akuku-Toru council areas, including 72,000 votes in Emohua, all of which areas that are known as APC strongholds.

According to Eze, the development over the last weekend in the presidential election, was an indication that the rule of the PDP and that of the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, was almost over, adding that the resolve exhibited by the people was uncommon, noting that they damned all consequences and shunned the effects of all intimidation, propanganda  as well as the agents of retrogressive forces in the Wike’s administration to come out enmasse to vote for President Buhari not minding the cancellation of six council areas that would have catapulted the party’s votes to the level of a party trusted by the people of Rivers State.

He also congratulated the Lion of Niger Delta politics and leader of APC in the South-South region, Dr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who has once again demonstrated that he is on a divine mission to reunite the zone with the centre, saying further that “Amaechi as Director General against all odds to have led the Presidential Campaign Organisation of APC to two successful electoral polls victories, back to back, is a feat that puts him in the mold of great leaders of our generation.

Eze congratulates Dr Dakuku Peterside the NIMASA DG for ensuring the success of the party in the Presidential election in the State demonstrating once again his love and commitment towards the vision of APC in Rivers State. The exceptional inputs towards this struggle and great impact we made during the elections of Pastor Tonye Cole, Senator Uchendu, Ambassador Oji Ngofa,, Prince Tonye Princewill, Chief Ojukaye and  Dr Sokonte Davies, ED Marine and operations, Nigerian ports Authority can’t be overemphasised.

Other great warriors and political force which inputs towards the great outing by APC during the presidential election that made President Buhari proud in Rivers State  were Dr Dawari George, Dr Ibiamu Ikanya, Honourable Asita, Dr Chidi Lloyd, Dr George Tolofari, Hon Henry Okumgba, Chief Aso Wenah,  Chris Amadi the NDDC EDFA, Engr Thankgod, Henry Ogiri, Udi Odum that fought to deliver Abua/Odual and numerous other stakeholders that ensured that the plots of our enemies didn’t consume us.

I pray that as we kick-off the kick out Wike project, let us all unite under the leadership of our leader, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and rescue Rivers State from the hands of Wike and his devious cohorts.

Eze was full of praises for the people of Rivers State who stood against all odds, intimidation, propanganda and agents of retrogressive forces in the Wike’s administration to come out enmasse to vote for President Buhari not minding the cancellation of six Local Government Areas that would have catapulted our votes to the level of a party trusted by the people of Rivers State.

Meanwhile, Eze pleads with the leadership of APC and the entire people of Rivers state to key into the kick out Wike project and not to relent until the mission of rescuing Rivers state from the clutchs of bad governance, as represented by Governor Nyesom Wike is achieved.

“In short we should stop further celebration to mobilise all Rivers State people to ensure that Wike becomes an ex-governor of Rivers state as another misfortune of Governor Wike as Governor of Rivers State for another four years will be a disaster and destructive for the vision of Rivers state as a leading state in Nigeria.

Eze one of the most vibrant and vocal  voices of APC in the Niger Delta region further stated in the press statement he personally signed and circulated in Port Harcourt on Friday that the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari of the All progressives Congress (APC)  who polled 15,191,847 votes over  his opponent, Alh. Atiku abubakar presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 11,262,978 votes is the beginning of the rebirth of new Nigeria where corruption will be formally buried and a system where all Nigerians will be a stakeholder will be created.

Eze, the erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New PDP  stated that with the victory of President Buhari the collaboration of Wike and Senator Magnus Abe to decimate and weaken APC so that the people of Rivers State will not vote for President Buhari have fallen like a pack of cards. They should cover their faces in shame as all the plots and ploys had no impact in the reelection of President Buhari. Sadly, Senator Magnus Abe didn’t only lose his polling unit but his entire local government area to Wike’s dying political party.

Eze who advised those elected under the platform of PDP to represent the State at the National Assembly not to celebrate as their elections will be overturned at the appropriate time by the APC candidates
