Former President Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on President Joe Biden’s leadership, after the current President announced his intention to run for a second term in a video message on Tuesday. Trump released a statement not long after, slamming Biden’s record and accusing him of causing irreparable damage to the country.

Trump criticized Biden’s spending policies, which he claimed have led to the worst inflation in over 50 years, with falling real wages and failing banks. He also accused Biden of surrendering America’s energy independence and of mishandling the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which he called the most embarrassing event in the history of the country.

“You could take the five worst presidents in American history, and put them together, and they would not have done the damage Joe Biden has done to our Nation in just a few short years. Not even close,” Trump said.

The former President also claimed that millions of illegal aliens have been released into the country under Biden’s leadership, many of whom he alleged are dangerous and have been released from mental institutions and prisons. He accused Biden of allowing cities to be overrun with homelessness, drug addicts, and violent criminals, while law enforcement is weaponized against law-abiding conservatives or Republicans.

Trump went on to claim that Biden has humiliated the country on the world stage and is on the brink of causing World War III. He also accused Biden of being the most corrupt President in American history.

Despite Biden’s announcement of his re-election bid, Trump said it was inconceivable that the current President would even consider running again, given his calamitous and failed presidency. Trump then announced his own plans to run in 2024, promising to defeat Biden and rescue the economy, crush inflation, stop the invasion on the southern border, and prevent World War III from happening.
