General Olu Bajowa Congratulates Governor Akeredolu over poll victory

The Jagunmolu of Ikale Land and Ojagbulegun from The Source, Gen. Olu Bajowa (Rtd) has congratulated Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over his deserving Victory at the Ondo State Gubernatorial poll which was held on the 10th October 2020. In a statement personally signed by Gen. Olu Bajowa and made available to the press, the retired Army Chief said, ” I join all well wishers to congratulate you and members of your family on your resounding victory at the recently concluded Gubernatorial elections in Ondo state, our Sunshine State!”

Gen. Bajowa noted that the re- election of Governor Akeredolu is a testimony of the confidence and trust which the electorate reposed in him based on his performance during the Governor’s first term in office. 

“Your Excellency, your re-election is a testimony of the confidence and trust which the electorate reposed in you based on your performance during your first term in office”, the General said.

” It is the hope of all and sundry in Ondo State that you will replicate with further improvement on your antecedent, particularly in your promise for the exploration and exploitation of Bitumen and the development of the deep sea port at the Southern senatorial District of Ondo state”, Gen. Bajowa added.

The Ojagbulegun from The Source noted that the hope of all and sundry in Ondo State is that the incumbent who has just won a deserving second term will replicate with further improvement on his antecedents, particularly in his promise for the exploration and exploitation of Bitumen and the development of the Deep Seaport at the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State.

Bajowa further said, ” of equal significance are the promises of the APC Government for the provision of electricity to alleviate the power outage challenge, provision of potable water and motorable roads and to facilitate industrialisation in the Southern Senatorial District; the reactivation of the moribund Oil palm industry at Okitipupa and Oluwa Glass industry at Igbokoda, in order to bring dividends of Democracy to the people at the grassroots of the Southern Senatorial District and make life more abundant for the people of the catchment areas.”

Also in the statement, Gen .Bajowa prayed God to continue to guide and protect Gov. Akeredolu and grant him good health and sound mind during his second term in office, as the Executive Governor of Ondo state.
