Human Rights Watch Executive Director Kenneth Roth on Thursday called for immediate action to end the humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia’s Tigray region.
“For more than a year and a half, a largely invisible campaign of ethnic cleansing has played out in Ethiopia’s northern region of Tigray,” said the Human Rights Watch director.
According to Human Rights Watch, “several hundred thousand Tigrayans have been forcibly uprooted because of their ethnicity.”
