In final blow to Trump, U.S. Supreme Court denies Republican effort to block Biden win in Pennsylvania

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday denied an effort by some Republicans to block the certification of election results in Pennsylvania.

The unsigned order by the Supreme Court simply said “denied”, a one line decision that has now completely ended President Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

The decision not to even hear the case is a massive blow to Trump in a court where he nominated three justices.

U.S. President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. won Pennsylvania by more than 80,000 votes.
