Jake Sullivan speaks with Korean National Security Advisor Suh Hoon, promises stronger ties Updated for 2021

U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke by phone on Friday with Republic of Korea National Security Advisor Suh Hoon, and stressed the Biden administration’s commitment to further strengthening the U.S.-ROK alliance, spokesperson Emily Horne said in a statement.

Horned said both security officials “discussed the importance of close coordination on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, as well as on other regional and global challenges including COVID-19 and combating climate change.”
