U.S. president-elect Joe Biden cemented his presidential election win on Friday, with major networks projecting that he would win the state of Georgia with its 16 electoral votes.

It is the first time since Bill Clinton in 1992 that a Democrat has won Georgia.

Joe Biden won Georgia with more than 14,000 votes with more than 99 percent of estimated reporting.
