The Lagos Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2, known as MM2, a terminal built by Businessman, Wale Babalakin, is now an international airport and the Nigerian immigration service is deploying staff there, Comptroller-General of the Immigration Service, Mr. Martin Kure Abeshi, announced on Friday.
Abeshi said the immigration personnel will be deployed to the new Immigration Control areas at MM2 in preparedness for the commencement of international flights there on the 1 December, 2015.
Airlines such as Dana, Aero Contractors and Medview will commence international flights using the MM2 to Accra and a few other destinations in West Africa.

The immigration boss made the disclosure at a meeting with Mr. Christopher Pennick, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd, the operators of the MM2 Terminal at the Airport which use to be solely for local flights.
