United States Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken announced on Wednesday that Ambassador Michael Hammer has been appointed to replace Ambassador David Satterfield as U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa. Satterfield was on the job for a few months after he replaced Jeffrey Feltman last year.
