Nigeria: Firefighters battle blaze at Lagos airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria announced on Saturday that a mysterious bush fire had been reported around the RESA of 36L, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

“Officers of the Air Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) are presently on ground and fire fighting is in progress,” FAAN said, adding that the incident did not affect flight operations as normal flight operations continued unhindered.
