At least seven bomb explosions occurred in Maiduguri on Saturday, the same day millions of Nigerians were casting their votes to elect a new President and fresh National Assembly.
The explosions began at around 5:50am and ended a little around 6am, online reports said.

It was not clear the number of casualties. But the bomb attacks did not disturb voting, several sources said.
