Nigeria records 195 new cases of COVID-19 for a total of 1532 infections and 44 deaths

Nigeria on Tuesday recorded an additional 195 cases of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.

Nigeria now has a total of 1532 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 44 deaths, the Nigerian center for disease control (NCDC) said in a tweet late on Tuesday.

At least 255 patients have recovered and been disacharged.

Lagos, the epicenter of the disease in Nigeria recorded 38 new cases, Kano and Bauchi had 15 each.
