With a net worth of $14.8 billion in 2019, Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote remains Africa’s richest man and the 98th richest person on earth, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index released on Friday.
The second richest African on the list of the 500 richest people on earth is South African Johann Rupert with a net worth of $7.39 billion. He is the 234th richest person on earth.

Rupert is quickly followed by another South African Nicky Oppenheimer who is worth $7.33 billion and is ranked 242nd richest person on earth.
