Rep. Liz Cheney, the number 3 House Republican, announced on Tuesday that she will vote to impeach President Donald Trump over the assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, saying “there has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath of the Constitution.”
Cheney is the highest ranking Republican to announce publicly she will support impeachment against President Trump.
