Tunisian authorities announced on Monday a second person had tested positive for coronavirus, exactly a week after the first confirmed coronavirus case on March 2, 2020.
The health ministry said the infected person is a 65-year-old Tunisian who came from Italy.

The announcement came the same day Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation announced its second case as well.
The virus which causes a potentially deadly respiratory disease known as COVID 19 has now spread to 9 African countries and infected about 50 people.
