A day to a highly contested presidential election in Nigeria, the country’s President Muhammadu Buhari has boasted that “nobody would unseat me”.

He was being pressed by David McKenzie of CNN. The journalist asked him whether he could be unseated the same way he unseated former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Mr Buhari boasted: “nobody would unseat me”.

Mr Buhari is being challenged by many candidates, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The Economist has predicted that Mr Abubakar may defeat Mr Buhari, a prediction the government has laughed at.
