A video of Joe Biden, the Democrat hoping to defeat Donald Trump in about 200 days, has resurfaced, showing him defend blacks in South Africa as far back as 1986. The video has now gone viral in Africa.

In the video Joe Biden criticizes the Reagan administration for putting forward a new policy for South Africa that would have kept the status quo, the minority black population in power.

The video shows Joe Biden George Shultz, the Secretary of State under President Reagan, a Republic known for his racism.

The video has become important as Mr. Biden seeks to defeat Donald Trump in November. It gives an insight into the heart of a man who has fought against racism for many decades and who rose to become Vice President under President Barack Obama.
