Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States is Sylvanus Adiewere Nsofor, a retired justice from the Court of Appeals.

The octogenarian assumed as his country’s ambassador to the United States on November 13, 2017. It’s Nsofor’s first ambassadorial posting.

On Friday, an encounter with him at the Willard Intercontinental hotel in Washington D.C. was revealing.

He’s sol old he cannot walk without a staff.
