President Joseph R. Biden Jr. hosted 49 heads of delegation from 49 African countries at the White House for a state dinner on December 14, 2022, during the U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C. In attendance was also the chairperson of the African Union Commission.
