Taliban Takes Out ISIS Terrorist Responsible for Killing 13 American Service Members in Afghanistan

In a major breakthrough, the Taliban has reportedly taken out the ISIS terrorist responsible for the deadly suicide bombing outside Abbey Gate of Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021, which claimed the lives of 13 American service members and more than 170 Afghan civilians. Multiple reports have confirmed that the Biden administration recently became aware of the ISIS-K operative and that he was killed in a Taliban-led operation.

According to US officials who spoke to Fox News, the terrorist mastermind who directed the attack has been eliminated, signaling a significant victory for the Taliban, who have been engaged in a bitter struggle for control of Afghanistan since the US withdrawal in August. The Biden administration has praised the Taliban for their cooperation in eliminating the ISIS-K operative and vowed to continue working with them to stabilize the situation in Afghanistan.

The killing of the ISIS-K operative marks a major victory in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan and sends a clear message to other terrorist groups that the Taliban will not tolerate attacks against American interests or the Afghan people. The US and its allies will likely continue to work closely with the Taliban to track down and eliminate other terrorist operatives in the region, as the fight against terrorism remains a top priority for the international community.
