Formula One Is Coming Back to Africa: Kagame Announces a 10-Year Deal for a Rwanda Grand Prix
President Paul Kagame announced a 10-year agreement for Rwanda to host a Formula One Grand Prix at a new circuit in Bugesera from the early 2030s, returning F1 to Africa for the first time since 1993. Formula One is owned by U.S.-based Liberty Media.
