President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for coronavirus, the president announced on Sunday.

@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!,” Trump tweeted.

Giuliani’s positive test result comes after his son Andrew Giuliani and others at the White House became infected with the coronavirus.

President Trump himself and First Lady Melania tested positive for the virus in the fall and recovered.

Giuliani is representing the President in his failed attempt so far to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election won by Joseph R. Biden Jr.
