Trump releases video message before hospitalization: “I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out”

President Donald Trump released a video message on Friday shortly before he departed the White House for a military hospital where he would be for the next few days.

“I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out,” Trump said.

Trump arrived at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center around 6.30 p.m. on Friday evening after he announced on Friday morning he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for coronavirus.

President Trump was moved to the hospital aboard Marine One helicopter, and will be there for a few days, the White House said.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is located in Bethesda, Maryland, a few miles from the White House.

White House spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany said the President will be working from the hospital for a few days.

She said the move was taken out of an abundance of caution.

ABC News is reporting that the President has a spiking fever, a cough and a chill.

In essence, the American leader was being hospitalized with coronavirus symptoms.
