President Donald Trump will host an iftar dinner at the White House next week to recognize the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Politico reported on Sunday, quoting a White House official.
Mr. Trump was blasted last year when he broke with the tradition followed by the last three American Presidents, by refusing to host the Ramadan dinner.
The move was seen as another clear example Mr. Trump was waging a war against Muslims.
The iftar dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, although the White House official declined to provide a list of attendees, According to Politico.
