In a shocking phone call on Saturday, President Donald Trump pressed Republican Secretary of State in Georgia Brad Raffensperger to overturn the November 2020 election results that delivered the state to President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.

Mr. Raffensperger, who oversaw Georgia’s elections, rejected the pressure by President Trump to further investigate the election that saw several recounts and legal challenges return the same results.

Mr. Trump urged Raffensperger to “find” the votes to overturn the election victory of President-elect Biden.

“There is nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you recalculated,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Raffensperger in the conversation, according to a recording of the call obtained by The Washington Post.
