Twitter Inc on Friday deleted new tweets from President Donald Trump from an official White House account after the social media networking site banned his personal account.

President Trump had tweeted: “We will not be SILENCED!” from his @POTUS White House account after his @realDonaldTrump personal account was permanently suspended by Twitter to protect the public from violence.

Trump wrote that “Twitter is not about FREE SPEECH.” He added that he was considering building his own social media platform in the near future.
