The United States Interior Secretary David Bernhardt tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday, according to his spokesman.
Bernhardt is currently not experiencing any symptoms of the disease, and will continue to follow CDC guidelines.

Politico quoted spokesman Nicholas Goodwin as saying that “Secretary Nernhardt did test positive for COVID-19 today. He is currently asymptomatic and will continue to work on behalf of the American people while in quarantine.”
Goodwin said following the test result, a holiday party scheduled to be held outdoors with masks has been canceled, adding that the agency will identify close contacts with Bernhardt and clean work areas.
