The United States announced on Tuesday that it will withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The U.S. had accused the Council of being biased against Israel and serving as a shield for authoritarian regimes with no respect for human rights.

She said council members were singling out Israel for criticism.
She said Venezuela, Cuba, China and Saudi Arabia were among the abusers that did not deserve to be members, The Washington Post reported.
