The United Nations in Nigeria has welcomed the submission on Monday, November 15, 2021, of the report of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution.
“I welcome the submission to the Lagos State Governor, H.E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, of the reports of the judicial panel on claims of brutality and shooting in the Lekki area of Lagos State, during the 2020 EndSARS protests,” said Mr. Edward Kallon, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Nigeria.
