The wedding pictures of two African ladies kissing on their lips have caused uproar in conservative Africa.
Outrage erupted first in Ghana because one of the pictures showed the ladies wearing a traditional Ghanaian cloth called Kente.
Conservative Ghanaians who believe the two women are from their country claimed homosexuality was evil and should be condemned.
Other pictures showed one of the ladies in a white suit while the other was in a white gown at a beautiful ceremony filled with guests.
The origin of the pictures is unknown but some reports claimed the wedding ceremony held in the Netherlands where same-sex marriage is legal. Same sex relationships are considered illegal and bad in Ghana.
One report recalled that “in September, photos and videos of a Ghanaian man’s wedding to his American boyfriend at an undisclosed location in the United States went viral. Angry reactions were posted on social media against the solemn ceremony and the happy couple”.
