U.S. President-Elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Thursday announced what he described as “a barrier-breaking, tested climate team ready on day one” to advance his agenda and “lead the world to confront the climate crisis — creating good-paying union jobs, building resilient communities, and making historic investments in environmental justice to advance public health and economic opportunity for all Americans.”
